Meet Misty Williams – Your Practitioner

Our life is precious, and I believe we should make the most of it. It feels important to me to show up in the world as my authentic self and live to my highest potential. To “do what I am”. This has been my guiding philosophy for almost 30 years.

So “what am I”? I’m observational, mechanically & spatially inclined, and a helper type personality. As a young adult, I continually searched, reading “What Color is My Parachute” and “Do What You Are”, attempting to know in what direction to point myself. My work experiences showed me I loved interacting face to face with people, helping them to solve problems and reinforced my enjoyment in using my mechanical and spatial aptitudes. My search kept bringing me to Massage Therapy.

After a few years into this work, I was ready to expand into something more. How could I help treat the causes of the symptoms my clients were experiencing? My personal health choices and experience also influenced my decision to enroll in Acupuncture school.

Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and Reiki are natural extensions of myself, how I manifest most authentically and ways in which I can offer others support and love. We all could use a little more of those.

I’m a Buddhist Practitioner and believe every life is precious.  As the Dali Lama says, “my religion is kindness.”  I’m also a native Vermonter, grateful for the natural beauty surrounding me everyday, proud of our culture.
